There are a lot of very nice military campgrounds in California. They are inexpensive and often times very conveniently located.
We lived in Navy housing on this base from 1973 - 1977. The RV park was built after we were transferred.
Our traveling friends had a daughter living close by this base (in Hanford) so we spent a couple of weeks at the RV park and did some side trips to the mountains and the ocean.
There are some very nice aircraft displays around the base. The picture was taken near the main gate.
