A rather large on base RV Park. It has a marina and a large fishing pier.
Our site was a desirable one but without sewer connections. There was a dump station right across the street and we carry a 30 gal blue boy and only had to use it a couple of times during our two week stay.
It was spring time and the clover was in full blossom so we had a morning and afternoon big eared visitor.
The fishing from the pier was good and if you get tired of that you can drive out to Padre Islands and get the Reds right out of the surf.
There is a nice golf course on base. It’s flat, allowing you to easily see your ball flight.
