lots of times when coming up out of the south we travel up I77 to I81. Right near the two interstate highway junctions is Fort Chiswell RV Park. It’s been a favorite one night stopping place for us for a long time. Easy to get to and most of the sites are level enough for us to stay connected.
We are always early arriving at our stop over places because 300 miles is our max travel day. Getting in here early allows for some afternoon fishing in their well stocked fishing lake.
