This RV park is way out past the Mayport Naval Base basin on the south jetties. The only other thing out there is the shipboard firefighting school.

Parking sites are assigned when you check-in. You could end up in a premium site facing the jetties or on the tight 2nd or 3rd row very close to those next to you. Or, maybe another type of premium site backed-up to a ball field with lots of extra room. I’ve had them all and will post a couple of them.
If ship watching is something you like to do you can watch everything coming or going from the Jacksonville waterways pass these jetties. From smallish fishing boats to tankers and cargo container ships to cruise ships and the fleet of Navy ships from the Naval Station.
